Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is an arbitrator on television at Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. Ana is a child born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years old, relocated to Miami along with her parents. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the host and producer on Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most popular Spanish-language shows on the network. The show was nominated for an Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in the year 2015. In 2015 it ranked among the top performers across all demos. Polo was born on April 11th, 1959 in Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. In the following years she was awarded her PhD degree in law from University of Miami. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was first exposed to television audiences in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other court shows where her legal expertise was tapped. Literature and Awards In 1958, she published Los Hijos Muertos. This novel earned her the Critic's Prize and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain to the United States 1960. Polo is a survivor of breast cancer and frequently gives speeches to help raise money. Polo has been a vocal campaigner for LGBT rights all of her life. She is a Florida Bar-member since 1987. She graduated from law from the University of Miami School of Law.
