Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress who has appeared in films and television. Her characters include Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Homefront, Earth 2 Armageddon. NCIS Flashpoint, Left Behind: World at War.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Joanna Noyes, an actress as well as Jan Steen, a director and actor. She is of Dutch, Scottish and Irish origin.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights advocate as well as an environmentalist, in addition her business in entertainment. Steen is a strong supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee, among others. She's a certified diver and is proficient in a variety of circus arts, such as stilt-walking, and fire-twirling.
